Our Privacy Policy only applies to the content stored on our servers. It expressly does not extend to any links to third-party websites.

b. Purpose and legal basis of data processing

We store data related to the end device, e.g. to compile usage statistics or to identify and track unauthorised attempts to access our web servers. We only create profiles regarding the use of our website in anonymised form and only to improve user guidance and to optimise our products and services. Our legitimate interest in data processing pursuant to Art. 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR also lies in these purposes. We do not create or process any behaviour profiles relating to a specific person from the aforementioned information.

c. Duration of data storage

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

5. Processing of personal data during the use of our website functions

We process personal data when you use our website functions. The following data processing activities are considered in this context:

Data transmitted via the contact form, notify me form or by contacting us via will be stored in order to be able to process your request or to be available for follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on without your consent.

6. Date processing when using our carbon credit vouchers

AQ Green TeC may gift carbon credit vouchers for special occasions. The carbon credits can be used to offset CO2e emissions within the AQ Green TeC App, for the amount specified on the voucher. To receive the carbon credits in the App, we are collecting the email addresses of the persons who redeem the voucher. Collecting the email addresses is technically necessary to allocate the voucher to the individual.

The email addresses will not be used for any other purposes. In particular, the email addresses will not be used to send advertising. The legal basis for the data collection is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures). The email addresses will be stored until the validation date of the voucher and will be deleted afterwards.

bb. Purpose and legal basis of data processing

The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to simplify the use of websites for users. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For this it is necessary that the browser is recognized even after a page change.

The user data collected by technically necessary cookies are not used to create user profiles.

The data sent by us and linked with cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month. This website uses the anonymisation option provided by Google Analytics. We only collect your IP address in shortened form which means it cannot be traced back to you.

c. Google Tag Manager

We use “Google Tag Manager” on our website, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Tag Manager enables us to manage website tags via an interface. The Google Tag Manager tool that implements the tags is a cookie-less domain and does not itself collect any personal data. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

8. Data security, TLS encryption with https

AQ Green TeC takes diligent precautions to protect your data managed by us against manipulations, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorised persons. We continuously improve our security measures in accordance with the development of technology. Our employees are obligated to maintain data confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.

We use https to transmit data in a tap-proof manner on the Internet (data protection through technology design Art. 25 para 1 GDPR). Using TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the Internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data. You can recognize the use of this data transmission security by the small lock symbol in the upper left corner of the browser and the use of the https scheme (instead of http) as part of our Internet address.

9. Technologies used

Parts of this website may use technologies that are widely used on the internet, such as JavaScript, Java, Flash or ActiveX, to allow us to present the information requested in a form that is more convenient for you. We do not use these technologies in any way to spy out personal data or manipulate data on your computer.
